When the tire valve cover is opened, the American mouth will expose a copper tube with an external thread, and the inside is an air passage called a core chamber, which is called a valve body. The core cavity in the middle of the body is locked with a gas core, and there is a core rod supported by a coil spring, which can be charged or deflated by pressing the core rod; and the gas core can be rotated and removed by a special tool.

In general, the length or curvature of the copper tube can vary, but the aperture is fixed to the inner and outer threads to lock the valve cover and the air core. The outer diameter of the copper pipe has an outer diameter of 7.7 mm and the root of the thread has a diameter of 6.9 mm and a pitch of 0.794 mm. The internal thread has a diameter of 5.2 mm and a pitch of 0.705 mm.
• TR-413 tire valves: The diameter of the valve for mounting the valve on the rim is 11.50 mm and the length is 31.8 mm.
• TR-415 tyre valves: The aperture on the rim for mounting the valve is 15.87 mm and the length is 31.8 mm.
