Because the sidewall is too thin, the sidewall is the most vulnerable part of the tire. Normal tire studs can be repaired, but after sidewall studs, repair is definitely not recommended.
In addition, if the tire is torn in a large area and the tread belt is severely damaged, it cannot be repaired. For tires, repairing can only repair some common sharp object punctures. Tread injuries with wounds less than 6mm can be repaired.
The scope of application of tire seal string
External tire seal string can be said to be the most convenient way to repair tires, but they are also the most rudimentary. They can only be used as a temporary emergency method. If you encounter nailing problems in the field, use this kind of rubber strips to plug in from the outside to block the breach. It is quicker and more convenient to stop the tire from leaking.
Although it is very convenient, because it needs to be inserted from the outside forcibly, it will cause secondary damage to the wound of the tire. This is not a reasonable method for the tire and can only be used as an emergency choice.
Moreover, this method is not suitable for all puncture wounds. For example, it is not recommended to use adhesive strips for large puncture wounds. If only the adhesiveness of the adhesive strips is used to repair large puncture wounds, there will still be tearing problems during driving. There is a threat to safety.
